2024 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Drug Circulation High-quality Collaborative Innovation and Development Conference was held in Tianjin

The “2024 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei High-Quality Collaborative Innovation Development Conference for Pharmaceutical Distribution” was held in Tianjin from September 29 to 30. This event was co-hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and the Hebei Provincial Department of Commerce.

With the theme “Collaborative Innovation for a Win-Win Future,” the conference drew over 500 participants from the pharmaceutical commerce sectors across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Attendees included representatives from drugstores, pharmaceutical internet companies, national industrial brands, as well as numerous experts and scholars in the field.

During the conference, three associations from Tianjin and Hebei formalized a cooperation agreement aimed at regulating cross-regional warehousing. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance collaborative development in pharmaceutical distribution within the area. Participants engaged in comprehensive discussions on several crucial topics, such as the management of drug business quality, chronic disease prevention strategies, omnichannel marketing, content marketing, and the restructuring of pharmacy membership systems.

The conference underscored the vital role of pharmaceutical supply in the three regions, emphasizing the connection of high-quality resources from local pharmaceutical distribution networks. It successfully brought together hundreds of domestic and international pharmaceutical companies, chain pharmacies, and logistics providers to form a diverse and robust landscape in pharmaceutical distribution.

The meeting also celebrated the collaborative achievements made over the past decade in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It provided insights into the latest industry policies, analyzed the current market dynamics, and highlighted Tianjin’s unique strengths within the pharmaceutical industry. Plans for further enhancing the integrated development of the pharmaceutical market in these regions were also discussed.

Looking ahead, the conference stressed the importance of harnessing the capabilities of the pharmaceutical industry associations within the three regions. There are plans to explore the creation of an emergency supply platform for pharmaceuticals specific to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area. Additionally, efforts to strengthen monitoring of drug distribution, leverage complementary advantages, boost collaboration within the pharmaceutical supply chain, and establish new platforms to drive quality productivity in the region’s pharmaceutical industry were emphasized.
