2024 key training course for overseas Chinese-funded enterprises in Tianjin held

From October 14 to 18, the Tianjin Municipal United Front Work Department and the Municipal Overseas Chinese Federation co-hosted a training program for key personnel from overseas Chinese-funded enterprises in Tianjin. Over 40 leaders and key staff from local overseas Chinese enterprises participated in this initiative.

In the opening remarks, a representative from the United Front Work Department expressed hope that the attendees would continue to root themselves in Tianjin, aligning their business growth with national prosperity, ethnic advancement, and public well-being. They emphasized the importance of leveraging Tianjin’s advantages to take the lead in the new wave of innovative development, thereby playing a pivotal role in the city’s high-quality development. The representative also encouraged overseas Chinese entrepreneurs to cultivate and express a patriotic spirit and to boldly take on social responsibilities as they showcase a new chapter in the ethos and actions of Tianjin’s overseas Chinese business community.

The training was diverse in its approach, including specialized lectures, on-site teaching, group discussions, and field research. During the program, participants engaged in a systematic study of the guiding principles from the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of China. They also toured enterprises such as the Haihe Dairy Intelligent Factory and the Huawei Tianjin Regional Headquarters, allowing them to share insights and understand new productive forces, which boosted their confidence in development.

Many attendees noted that the training significantly enhanced their commitment to implementing new development concepts and invigorated their determination and confidence. Upon returning to their roles, they pledged to transform what they learned into a powerful driving force for entrepreneurship, integrating these lessons into every aspect of their future work to contribute more vigorously to high-quality development.
