Heilongjiang- 11 -do one thing well- public security matters are put into operation online

On October 24, in Harbin, a press conference hosted by the Propaganda Department of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Heilongjiang Provincial Government’s Information Office highlighted the province’s efforts in promoting high-quality development through comprehensive reform.

Liu Xingdong, the Deputy Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Public Security Department, spoke at the event about the initiatives being implemented under the “Year of Legal Public Security Construction” and the “Year of Optimizing Public Security Services.” He shared that the department has introduced “15 New Measures to Support Development and Opening Up in Heilongjiang,” aimed at enhancing the business environment. These measures include reducing the number of required approval documents by 69, shortening the processing time for 54 administrative service items, and integrating 82 public security service matters into one-window processing at police stations. Additionally, they have launched operations for 11 specific public security matters under the “One Thing Well” initiative and set up 282 feedback windows for services that were challenging to complete, leading to a “zero threshold” for settling in urban areas.

Liu also emphasized their commitment to robust year-round support for tourism in Heilongjiang, which is crucial for the region’s high-quality tourism development. Recognizing the intrinsic link between public security responsibilities and the business environment, he outlined plans for the Public Security Department to accelerate the establishment of a comprehensive social security system and intensify efforts to combat various forms of crime. Furthermore, the department aims to enhance the “release, management, and service” reform, introducing more measures that benefit citizens and businesses alike. Liu reiterated the importance of fostering harmonious relationships between the police and the community, ultimately enhancing public safety and satisfaction. By taking a multifaceted approach, the Heilongjiang Provincial Public Security Department is positioning itself as a key player in maintaining economic stability, making Heilongjiang a prime destination for investment and business development.
