Infertility made me feel guilty, says TV newsreader

In a recent interview, Andrea Byrne opened up about the emotional toll of infertility, sharing that it often left her feeling guilty during her seven-year journey. The 45-year-old news presenter, who has been with ITV since 2008 and is married to former Wales rugby international Lee Byrne, 44, reflected on how those feelings impacted her relationship.

“You feel so guilty,” Byrne recalled, noting that doctors had informed her she might never be able to carry a pregnancy. “I constantly had thoughts that [Lee] would be better off without me.”
