A dock ramp collapses in Georgia, killing at least 7 people

Reports from American media indicate that on October 19th, a ferry dock staircase at Sapelo Island in Georgia collapsed after being struck by a ship, resulting in at least seven fatalities.

Sapelo Island, located in eastern Georgia, is accessible exclusively by ferry. On the day of the incident, residents were participating in a celebratory event on the island.
