Foshan International Dry Port Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) was officially opened
On October 21, a significant event was held at the Foshan International Land Port headquarters—the inauguration ceremony and promotional event for the Foshan International Land Port Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), themed “Connecting the World, Empowering Global Trade.”
The Foshan International Land Port Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) is located in building 3 of the Foshan International Land Port Park. It has established a global consolidation and distribution center that enables innovative regulatory models for simultaneous warehousing of import and export goods, as well as the handling of both small and large transactions. This facility offers a range of services including bonded warehousing, bonded e-commerce, bonded export consolidation, re-export trade, cross-border e-commerce returns, bonded display, and simple processing logistics. The center officially passed its acceptance inspection by a joint review team led by Guangzhou Customs on September 5.
Chen Jinxiang, the chairman of Guangdong Smart Land Port Management Co., Ltd., shared that since its operational launch on March 30, 2023, the Foshan International Land Port has been dedicated to enhancing the industrial supply chain in Foshan. Through over a year of concerted efforts, and with strong support from the Foshan Customs, it has opened several customs operation areas including those for cross-border e-commerce imports and exports, as well as general trade. The center has attracted major international logistics platforms such as Pinduoduo International, Shein, Cainiao, and China Post for collaboration. As of October 20, the Foshan International Land Port has processed approximately 36 million import and export transactions, with trade amounting to nearly 10 billion RMB.
Lao Jianfeng, the deputy mayor of Nanhai District in Foshan, remarked that the establishment of the Foshan International Land Port Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) will further enhance the district’s influence in international trade. This development is expected to attract more domestic and foreign businesses and investors, creating new opportunities and momentum for regional economic growth.
During the event, nine companies, including China Post Hong Kong, which are among the first to settle at the bonded logistics center, participated in a live signing ceremony. The Foshan International Land Port also signed cooperation agreements with eight financial service institutions.
