BRICS nations play a crucial role in shaping the international landscape. By independently choosing their development paths and collectively safeguarding their rights to development, these countries represent a forward direction for human society and are poised to significantly impact the world’s development trajectory.

Global development cannot exist without a peaceful and stable international environment. In September 2024, the 14th BRICS Senior Representatives Meeting on Security Affairs took place, where participants praised the unique role and significant achievements of the BRICS cooperation mechanism. Attendees noted that by adhering to the principle of equality and considering the interests of all parties, the influence and attractiveness of BRICS countries continue to grow.

The BRICS cooperation mechanism is showcasing greater appeal, injecting stability and positive energy into a world marked by turmoil.

The Suez Canal, with its rich history, is witnessing ancient civilizations opening a new chapter. Since China proposed the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, Egypt has been one of the first countries to join. As of January 1, 2024, Egypt has officially joined the BRICS cooperation mechanism.

Prosperity and development are shared goals of the BRICS nations. With the recent expansion, BRICS now represents nearly half of the global population and accounts for one-fifth of global trade, with its economy surpassing that of the G7 when measured by purchasing power parity. The collective rise of BRICS countries alongside emerging markets and developing nations is fundamentally transforming the world map.

Civilizations come in many colors, and the world is in need of diverse voices. The “BRICS Civilization Dialogue” series of events held in September 2024 provided a broad platform for enhancing cultural exchanges and cooperation among BRICS nations. More citizens from these countries are becoming ambassadors of cultural exchange, working together to write new chapters of friendship, thus contributing to the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity with “BRICS strength.”
